16-year-old Lita has had a phobia of lizards since childhood, particularly accentuated during her menstruation days. Every summer, she returns to Lagartera village, where she discovers the connection between her fears and myths rooted in the family culture and immerses herself in the local tradition during the Corpus Christi celebration. Through this experience, Lita embarks on a journey to understand the heritage of fears, identity and traditions that have been passed down through the generations among the women in her family.
